The fellows' projects at Distant Worlds

The fellows at Distant Worlds work on projects, which they have chosen themselves and which are supervised by our PIs. These come from various disciplines among ancients studies reprresented at Distant Worlds. 

The doctoral fellows, whose projects are in different temporal stadiums, exchange professional and personal experiences in the focus areas while working on their projects. 

The postdoctral fellows' projects, which also cover a variaty of disciplines among ancient studies, are means of further qualification after having received a PhD. 

The fellows are brought together by their shared awareness of the temporal and hermeneutic distance between their object of study and modern science. It is the primary aim of the School to understand this distance and its use.
